1. Thinning NC Paints: When using with Nitrocellulose (NC) paints, varnishes, or sanding sealers, add the thinner gradually while stirring.

Ratio: Typically mixed at 1:1 or as per the paint manufacturer’s recommendation to achieve spraying viscosity.

Warning: Do not use with 2-Pack (2K) paints or Polyurethanes, as this may cause separation or blooming. Use Kenlac® 2K Thinner for those products.
2. Cleaning Spray Guns: Immediately after painting, pour a small amount of Kenlac Super Standard Thinner into the spray gun cup. Shake well and spray through the nozzle to clear out all internal passages. Repeat until the solvent runs clear.
3. Surface Degreasing: To prepare metal surfaces for painting, soak a clean rag in the thinner and wipe down the surface to remove oil, grease, and fingerprints. Allow to air dry completely before priming.
4. Brush Recovery: Soak hardened brushes in a container of Super Standard Thinner overnight to soften old paint, then wash with warm soapy water.
5. Safety Precautions: Use only in well-ventilated areas. This product is highly flammable. Avoid skin contact by wearing solvent-resistant gloves.
